'Miracle Wash' Laundry Balls

Save Money, Time & Water......contains NO harsh chemicals & great for those people with allergies & skin problems like eczema.

  • Anti bacterial, hypo-allergenic, not tested on animals
  • Gentle enough for childrens' clothes & baby's nappies, the naturally antibacterial pellets destroy both E-Coli & Staphylococcus bacteria (as certified)
  • Use hot, warm or cold water in top loaders, front loaders & twin tubs, you can also soak & handwash clothing
  • Reuse over & over again (up to 60 washes)
  • No measuring, pouring or spilling, just put the laundry balls into the washing machine & turn on!
  • Does not contain any detergent & there is no residue of any kind left on clothes, a rinse cycle is not necessary as the pellets do not contain any fillers, builders or any chemical that leaves a buildup in the fabric - there is nothing to rinse off.  Turning off your rinse cycle will save you water & electricity but it is not necessary if your machine can't turn off this cycle
  • After continued use your washing machine filters will be clean with no more residue clogging them up
  • The laundry balls do not contain bleach or toxic enzymes, optimisers or other heavy duty poisonous grease cleaners.  For grease & other heavy stains use the 'phosphate free' multi stain remover included in the kit.  This comes as a paste that can be applied directly to the stain, or diluted with water in a spray bottle for a spray-on stain remover
  • There is a soft lemon fragrance that gives clothes a 'washed' but not not scented smell when you get them out of the machine.  When dry your clothes smell clean but not scented.

So how do they work?

Each laundry ball can be used up to 60 washes.  If your load is over 3kgs you need to use two balls.  When the pellets inside the ball are very small, it is time to refill (refill packs available), the ball has a small cap that you pull out, pour in your pellets, then recap.

The laundry balls contain small pellets made of minerals.  During the wash these minerals release molecules of ionised oxygen, these molecules raise the pH level of the water which softens the water and fabric (no need for fabric softener either) and opens the fabric weave. This allows for the movement of the water in the washing machine to remove the soil/dirt.

The minerals are Sodium Silicate and Sodium Carbonate as well as a mild & biodegradable surfactant.  They are environmentally safe and are derived from natural components and inorganic rock. There is NO Sodium Lauryl Sulphate (SLS) or Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulphate (SLES) in this product.

Safety Test Results

Miracle Wash pellets were tested by Lanfax Laboratories NSW (April 2006).  Tests were conducted for both top loading & front loading washine machines.

General Comments: Water use estimated at 150L per full load.  A bulk sample was taken using the scoop provided and a weight taken.

Sample dissolved in deionised water at the rate calculated for a top loading washing machine based upon the full cycle of 150L.  The sample was agitated for 30 minutes and the pH, EC and turbidity measured within 30 minutes.

The samples were acidified to pH<2 with nitric acid, filtered and elements determined by inductively coupled plasma.

Sodium Adsorption Ratio (SAR) not possible to calculate because of the absence of calcium and magnesium salts in the wash water.  Useful to calculate SAR when used with municipal water, but will change with various levels of hardness and composition of clean water.
